What if educational AI platforms could support third-party plugins without compromising safety, trust, or learner data? This is the idea behind the LearnAdapt PedOS Plugin Lifecycle — a governance and deployment pathway that moves a plugin from prompt to production through structured review, automated security checks, sandboxed testing, and controlled telemetry. The lifecycle begins in Agentic Studio, where plain-English prompts can be converted into versioned plugin artefacts such as PHP, JavaScript, and CSS. But generation is only the first step. Before any plugin reaches learners, it passes through: ✔️ Multi-stage admin review ✔️ Human reviewers inspect artefacts through interactive previews and rationale reviews before deployment is triggered. Automated SAST security gate ✔️ Plugins are checked for banned functions, XSS patterns, and SQL vulnerabilities. Unsafe artefacts are blocked before they can affect the platform. Sandboxed preview environments ✔️ Plugins can be tested in isolated Studio and Directory previews with zero production data impact. Telemetry gate ✔️ Only installed and approved plugins are allowed to persist learning activity data, such as xAPI events, into the platform LRS. Versioned publishing ✔️ Approved plugins are registered into a public directory, creating a pathway for safe discovery, reuse, and adoption. The aim is simple: to make educational AI extensible without making it reckless. For LearnAdapt, plugins are not just technical add-ons. They are pedagogical tools that can support tutoring, feedback, assessment, reflection, simulation, analytics, and learning design. The bigger vision is a Pedagogical Operating System where researchers, educators, developers, and institutions can co-create trusted AI learning tools — safely, transparently, and at scale. I am especially interested in connecting with people working on: • AI in education • Learning engineering • LLM agents and orchestration • Educational plugin ecosystems • Safe AI deployment • Learning analytics and xAPI • Human-centred EdTech design If this resonates with you, I would love to connect, exchange ideas, or explore collaboration. #AIinEducation #EdTech #LearningAnalytics #GenerativeAI #LLM #AdaptiveLearning #LearningEngineering #EducationalTechnology #ResponsibleAI #LearnAdapt

So, LearnAdapt, has just gone through another massive upgrade. We started with the vision of developing the Next Generation Tutoring (Tutoring Intelligence or Pedagogical Intelligence). And now, we are envisoning Educational Intelligence (Educational AI) - Precision Education at Scale. learnadaptresearch.org. We welcome all researchers, educators, administrators, students, developers, EdTech enthusiasts, collaborators (anywhere in the world) to join us in this AI-driven educational revolution. Welcome @david and @sumaiyya, our latest researchers on our platform! We are doing exciting work. All under wraps for now. ? ? ?
